ACE-IT in College

Couple of Important Things:

• You must complete your application and submit all required documents with your application to aceit@vcu.edu. 
• Your references will need to submit their reference form document directly to us at aceit@vcu.edu.
• You will want to download all three files below: application and both reference forms.
• The application and reference forms are a .PDF which means you should use Adobe Reader to view, complete, and save your application.

Application Materials:

The ACE-IT application is a fillable PDF form. You will need to download the application along with the individual reference forms to fill them out. 

We prefer to receive your application electronically, but will accept hand written applications.

Application Checklist:

To apply for ACE-IT in College, please make sure your application includes the following:

1. Resume: Your current student resume.
2. Recent School Documentation/Support:
   • Most recent Transition Individualized Education Program (IEP), Individualized Service Plan (ISP), and/or Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE).
3. High School Records:
   
   • Transcript
   • Disciplinary record
4. References: Two references
   • One educational or professional reference and a DARS reference (or an additional educational/professional reference if you don't have a DARS counselor).

Optional but Encouraged:

• Results from any career and transition assessments
• Psychoeducational testing results or eligibility determination
• Any relevant medical documentation
