Fees & Tution

ACE-IT in College students are enrolled at VCU, taking regular courses and paying standard tuition and fees, plus an additional ACE-IT program fee for individualized support. See the table below for estimated costs per semester.

Help Paying for ACE-IT 

As a Comprehensive Transition and Postsecondary (CTP) program, ACE-IT students can complete the FAFSA to apply for Federal financial aid like Pell Grants and Federal Work Study. Both of these forms of student aid are grants, not loans. This means you don’t have to pay them back! ACE-IT Students cannot access Federal Student Loans. However, ACE-IT students can use 529 Accounts, ABLE Accounts, or military dependents benefits to pay for college.

ACE-IT in College also has a partnership with the Virginia Department of Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) to support students attending ACE-IT in College. Students who receive support from DARS can speak to their counselor about potential financial assistance. 

Additionally, ACE-IT in College staff work hard every year to fundraise for Student Scholarships that are offered to students each Fall. If you would like to learn more about how you can support student scholarships, check out our Donate page .
